Another New Comers is Sony's Xperia Ion..More Superb!!!

Sony Xperia Ion Unveiled at CES 2012 & this is Sony's not Sony Ericsson

During the first day of CES 2012, Sony wasted no time in announcing their most recent Android smartphone, the Sony Xperia Ion. It is easy to fall in love with this phone—considering it hooks up into the 4G LTE network of AT&T. But apart from its network connectivity, there is much to adore about the smartphone. Even without a hands-on look at the unit, its specs have surely gained the attention of many people; most especially because it has a 12MP camera and an uber thin design.
As for the camera, it was actually pretty typical of Sony (yes, they are now rebranded as Sony) to produce smartphones equipped with a high quality camera. Because they get to put a clear definition on the very thin line between smartphones and digital cameras, there are so many people who are attracted to the brand.
Other specs include a 4.6-inch screen display, HDMI-out, plus an interface for a TV launcher. Out of all the other Xperia models, the Ion had a roomy display. It also has a 1280×720 display that makes use of Sony’s Mobile Bravia Engine. While only a few details have been given about this engine, we do suspect it is the same technology as to Sony’s line of Bravia TVs.
Moreover, the Xperia Ion comes with a compatible dock that enables larger display viewing. This is highly similar to Motorola’s webtop experience which is the product of the Atrix 2, Droid Razr, and Droid Bionic. When attached to a TV, users have the ability to play music, view photos and even send out SMS messages from the Xperia Ion to the TV. Sony also stated that the phone can be controlled using any TV remote.

A release date and price on the Xperia Ion is yet to be announced by Sony.
